Our Commitment
At Sapiens³, privacy isn't an afterthought -- it's fundamental to how we build our products. Your data belongs to you, and we're committed to keeping it that way.
Data Controller
Sapiens³ is developed and operated by Sanso Technologies Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15997178), with its registered office at 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR).

The App: Private by Design
Sapiens³ is built with privacy at its core:
- iCloud Sync: Your data lives in your iCloud account, not on our servers
- No Accounts: We don't require you to create an account or provide personal information
- No Tracking: We don't track your usage, behaviour, or collect analytics
- Your Data Stays Local: Your data is stored on your device and your personal iCloud account, not on our servers. Optional integrations such as Google Calendar communicate directly between your device and the provider
Email Collection
An email address is not required to use Sapiens³. You may choose to provide your email address, for example to subscribe to our newsletter or receive product updates. If you do, here's how we handle it:
- We use it solely for the purpose you provided it
- We never sell, rent, or share your email with third parties
- You can unsubscribe at any time
Third-Party Services
The app may use the following services:
- iCloud/CloudKit: For optional data sync (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
- App Store: For distribution and optional in-app purchases (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
- Google Calendar (optional): If you connect your Google account, the app accesses your calendars and events so you can view and manage them within Sapiens³. Your Google name, email, and profile photo are displayed to identify the connected account. All Google data is stored on your device only and is never transmitted to any server operated by us. You can disconnect your Google account at any time, which removes all related data from your device and revokes access with Google.
- HealthKit: If you choose to integrate with HealthKit, data is handled according to Apple's HealthKit guidelines and never leaves your device or iCloud
- Subscription Services: We may use third-party services to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. These services may receive transaction data and a pseudonymous identifier to process purchases and restore subscriptions across your devices
Legal Basis for Processing
We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so under the UK GDPR:
- Email address (if voluntarily provided): Consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us.
- Subscription and purchase data: Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Transaction data and a pseudonymous identifier are processed to fulfil your purchase and restore subscriptions across your devices.
- Google Calendar data (if you choose to connect): Consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting your Google account in the App's settings.
- iCloud sync data: Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)). Sync is provided as part of the App's core functionality at your direction.
International Data Transfers
Your app data is stored on your device and in your personal iCloud account. Apple may process iCloud data in data centres located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area (EEA), subject to Apple's data processing practices and transfer mechanisms. If you connect Google Calendar, your data is exchanged directly between your device and Google's servers, which may be located outside the United Kingdom and the EEA. Both Apple and Google maintain appropriate safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses and relevant adequacy decisions. For details, refer to Apple's and Google's respective privacy policies.
We do not independently transfer your personal data outside the United Kingdom or the EEA.
Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy:
- Email addresses: Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Subscription transaction data: Retained for the duration of your subscription and as required by applicable tax and accounting obligations after expiry, as needed for purchase verification, refund processing, and legal compliance.
- App data (tasks, notes, calendars): Stored on your device and your personal iCloud account. We do not retain this data on our servers. Deletion is under your control at all times.
- Google Calendar data: Stored on your device only for the duration of the connection. Disconnecting your Google account removes all related data from your device.
Data Security
- No analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs are included in the app
- Subscription management services are used solely for purchase processing, not tracking
- All data is encrypted at rest using iOS and macOS native encryption
- iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- We take reasonable measures to protect any data we collect, including secure storage and encryption in transit
Website Analytics
This website does not use cookies or analytics tools. We don't track your visits or behaviour.

- Access: Know what personal data we hold about you and request a copy
